Ray had a pretty quiet childhood, which he wrote about in a few semi-autobiographical books. In 1938, Bradbury graduated from high school in Los Angeles. This was the last time he went to school. But Ray Bradbury was a student for the rest of his life.

By 1943, Ray Bradbury was a full-time writer and had published several short stories in magazines. In 1947, he published Dark Carnival, a collection of short stories. Dandelion Wine, Driving Blind, Dandelion Wine, Quicker Than the Eye, The October Country, A Medicine for Melancholy, and I Sing the Body Electric!  are some of Ray Bradbury’s most important works. Bradbury has written over 30 books, 600 short stories, and several poetry plays.
