He died at 65 years old on December 15, 1966. Imagining childhood without Disney is tough now. Nonetheless, it is difficult to imagine how one guy went from an unsuccessful experimenter to a fabled pioneer by refusing to let critics stop him from pursuing a crazy ambition.
